PURPORT
In these verses the author of Sri Caitanya-caritamrta, Krsnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami, is very seriously stressing the importance of worship of the Panca-tattva.
If one becomes a devotee of Gaurasundara or Krsna but does not give importance to the Panca-tattva (sri-krsna-caitanya prabhu-nityananda sri-advaita gadadhara srivasadi-gaura-bhakta-vrnda), his activities are considered to be offenses, or, in the words of Srila Rupa Gosvami, utpata (disturbances).
One must therefore be ready to offer due respects to the Panca-tattva before becoming a devotee of Lord Gaurasundara or of Sri Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
