aneka karila yatna, na haya cetana
prabhure uthana ghare anila bhakta-gana
SYNONYMS
aneka—many; karila—made; yatna—endeavors; na haya—there was not; cetana—consciousness; prabhure—Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; uthana—lifting; ghare—home; anila—brought; bhakta-gana—the devotees.
The devotees tried to rouse the Lord by various means, but His consciousness did not return.
Therefore they all lifted Him and brought Him back home.
