ami ta’-I indeed; sannyasi—in the renounced order of life; damodara—of the name Damodara; brahmacari—in a stage of complete celibacy; sada—always; rahe—remains; amara upara—on Me; siksa-danda—a stick for My education; dhari’-keeping "Although I am in the renounced order of life and Damodara is a brahmacari, he still keeps a stick in his hand just to educate Me.
