pita-mata kasi paile udasina hana
punah prabhura thani aila grhadi chadiya
SYNONYMS
pita-mata—the father and mother; kasi paile—when they passed away at Kasi (Varanasi); udasina hana—being indifferent; punah—again; prabhura thani—to Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; aila—returned; grha-adi chadiya—leaving all relationships with home.
Then his parents died at Kasi (Varanasi), and he became detached.
He therefore returned to Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, giving up all relationships with his home.
