stri-nama suni’ prabhura bahya ha-ila
punarapi sei pathe bahudi’ calila
SYNONYMS
stri-nama—the word “woman”; suni’-hearing; prabhura—of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; bahya—external consciousness; ha-ila—returned; punarapi—again; sei pathe—on that path; bahudi’ calila—He turned back.
As soon as He heard the word “woman,” the Lord became externally conscious and turned back.
