’ista-deva’ kari’ mala dhariya rakhila

sei mala—that garland; chuta pana—the betel; prabhu—Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; tanre dila—delivered to him; ista-deva—his worshipable Deity; kari’-accepting as; mala—that garland; dhariya rakhila—kept.
Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu gave the garland and betel to Raghunatha Bhatta, who accepted them as a worshipable Deity, preserving them very carefully.
