bhakta-gane sukha dite prabhura ’avatara’
yahan yaiche yogya, tahan karena vyavahara
SYNONYMS
bhakta-gane—to His devotees; sukha dite—to give happiness; prabhura—of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; avatara—incarnation; yahan yaiche yogya—whatever was fitting according to the time and circumstances; tahan karena vyavahara—He behaved in that way.
Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu actually descended to give happiness to the devotees.
Thus He behaved in whatever way fit the time and circumstances.
