ami kahi,-ama haite na haya ’visaya’
caitanya-carane rahon, yadi ajna haya
SYNONYMS
ami kahi—I said; ama haite—by me; na—not; haya—is possible; visaya—government service; caitanya-carane—at the lotus feet of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; rahon—I may stay; yadi ajna haya—if you kindly give me permission "I said, ’Your Majesty, I am now not willing to engage in political activities.
I desire only to stay at the lotus feet of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
Kindly give me permission.’
