kabhu kunje rahe, kabhu rahe gramantare
sei bhakta, tahan asi’ dekhaye tanhare
SYNONYMS
kabhu—sometimes; kunje—in the bushes; rahe—remains; kabhu—sometimes; rahe—He stays; grama-antare—in a different village; sei bhakta—that devotee; tahan asi’-coming there; dekhaye tanhare—sees Him.
In this way, giving some excuse, Gopala sometimes remains in the bushes of the forest, and sometimes He stays in a village.
One who is a devotee comes to see the Deity.
