viccheda-duhkhita jani’ janani asvasite
SYNONYMS
prati-vatsara—every year; prabhu—Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; tanre—him; pathana—sends; nadiyate—to Navadvipa; viccheda-duhkhita jani’-knowing her affliction due to separation; janani—His mother; asvasite—to console.
Knowing His mother to be greatly afflicted by separation, the Lord would send Jagadananda Pandita to Navadvipa every year to console her.
