sanatana kahe,--tumi svatantra gaudesvara
ye yei dosa kare, deha’ tara phala

sanatana kahe—Sanatana Gosvami said; tumi—you; svatantra—independent; gauda-isvara—the ruler of Bengal; ye yei—whatever; dosa—faults; kare—one commits; deha’-you award; tara phala—the results of that.
Sanatana Gosvami said, “You are the supreme ruler of Bengal and are completely independent.
Whenever someone commits a fault, you punish him accordingly.”
