tomara age eta kathara nahi prayojana
usara-bhumite yena bijera ropana

tomara age—before you; eta—so many; kathara—of words; nahi—there is not; prayojana—necessity; usara-bhumite—in barren land; yena—like; bijera—of the seed; ropana—sowing.
Gopinatha Acarya then said, "There is no need to quote so much evidence from the sastras, for you are a very dry speculator.
There is no need to sow seeds in barren land.
