dui-arthe—by two interpretations; krsna—Lord Sri Krsna; kahi—I accept; kene—why; patha—reading; phiri—changing; sarvabhauma kahe—Sarvabhauma replied; o-patha—such a reading; kahite—to say; na—not; pari—am able “Since I can understand Krsna according to these two meanings,” Caitanya Mahaprabhu said, “what point is there in changing the verse?” Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya replied, "I was not able to give that reading to the verse.
