prabhu kahe,--’tumi bhakta, tomara sanga haite
jagannatha inhare krpa kaila bhala-mate’
SYNONYMS
prabhu kahe—the Lord said; tumi bhakta—you are a devotee; tomara sanga haite—on account of your association; jagannatha—Lord Jagannatha; inhare—unto him; krpa—mercy; kaila—showed; bhala-mate—very well.
Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu replied, “You are a devotee.
Because of your association, Lord Jagannatha has shown him mercy.”
