yadi ei vipra more na dibe kanya-dana
saksi bolaimu tomaya, ha-io savadhana
SYNONYMS
yadi—if; ei—this; vipra—brahmana; more—to me; na—not; dibe—will give; kanya-dana—his daughter in charity; saksi bolaimu—I shall call as a witness; tomaya—You; ha-io savadhana—kindly be attentive " ’If this brahmana later hesitates to give me his daughter, my dear Lord, I shall call on You as a witness.
