abhagiya—unfortunate; jnani—the philosophical speculators; asvadaye—taste; suska—dry; jnana—empiric knowledge; krsna-prema-amrta—the nectar of love of Krsna; pana—drinking; kare—do; bhagyavan—the fortunate.

Ramananda Raya concluded, “The unfortunate empiric philosophers taste the dry process of philosophical knowledge, whereas the devotees regularly drink the nectar of love of Krsna.

Therefore they are most fortunate of all.”
