koti bhoga jagannatha kare asvadana

sei sthale—in that place; bhoga lage—food is offered; achaye niyama—it is the custom; koti bhoga—millions of dishes; jagannatha—Lord Jagannatha; kare—does; asvadana—tasting.
It was customary that food be offered to the Lord at vipra-sasana.
Indeed, innumerable dishes of food were offered, and Lord Jagannatha tasted each one of them.
