svahaste paraila sabe malya-candana

tabe—at that time; mahaprabhu—Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; saba—all; lana—taking; bhakta-gana—devotees; sva-haste—by His own hand; paraila—decorated; sabe—everyone; malya-candana—with flower garlands and pulp of sandalwood.
As the car stood still, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu gathered all His devotees and, with His own hand, decorated them with flower garlands and sandalwood pulp.
