rajara ki dosa raja nija-dravya caya
dite nare dravya, danda amare janaya
SYNONYMS
rajara—of the King; ki dosa—what is the fault; raja—the King; nija—own; dravya—money; caya—wants; dite nare—they cannot give; dravya—money; danda—punishment; amare—to Me; janaya—they inform "What is the fault on the part of the King? He wants the government’s money.
However, when they are punished for failing to pay the government its due, they come to Me to release them.
