anya-desa prema uchale ’vrndavana’-name

saksat bhramaye ebe sei vrndavane

preme garagara mana ratri-divase

snana-bhiksadi-nirvaha karena abhyase

anya-desa—in other countries; prema—love; uchale—increases; vrndavana-name—by the name of Vrndavana; saksat—directly; bhramaye—travels; ebe—now; sei vrndavane—in that Vrndavana; preme—in ecstatic love; garagara—faltering; mana—mind; ratri-divase—day and night; snana-bhiksa-adi—bathing and accepting food; nirvaha—accomplishing; karena—does; abhyase—by habit.

When Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu was elsewhere, the very name of Vrndavana was sufficient to increase His ecstatic love.

Now, when He was actually traveling in the Vrndavana forest, His mind was absorbed in great ecstatic love day and night.

He ate and bathed simply out of habit.
