parinisthitah—situated; api—although; nairgunye—in the transcendental position, freed from the material modes of nature; uttamah-sloka-lilaya—by the pastimes of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Uttamahsloka; grhita-ceta—the mind became fully taken over; rajarse—O great King; akhyanam—the narration; yat—which; adhitavan—studied “ ’Sukadeva Gosvami addressed Pariksit Maharaja, ”My dear King, although I was fully situated in the transcendental position, I was nonetheless attracted to the pastimes of Lord Krsna.
