prabhu aila—the Lord has arrived; bali’-saying; loke—among the residents; haila—there was; kolahala—great broadcasting; manusya—all kinds of men; bharila—filled; saba—all; kiba jala—either on the water; sthala—or on land.
The place called Panihati was located on the bank of the Ganges.
After hearing that Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu had arrived, all kinds of men assembled both on land and on the water.The village of Panihati is situated on the banks of the Ganges near Khadadaha.
